Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

We do not provide design services, so you will have to have a CAD file ready to use our service. You are responsible for submitting 2D and 3D CAD drawings, and we can then provide a Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review upon receiving your order.

The format of 3D files including STEP, IGES, X_T and STL and The format of 2D files with reference dimensions including DWG and PDF. These can help us provide faster and more accurate quotes.

Depending on the situation, we typically respond within 24 to 48 hours after receiving a customer’s inquiry.

We have strict confidentiality measures in place for customer design information within our factory. If needed, we can sign a non-disclosure agreement with our customers.

At Neuvance, we have no minimum order quantity requirement. Even for just one piece, we can process it.

Each process is different and depends on part size, quantity required, and finishing requirements. Under general circumstances, about 10 days; for complex products or large volumes, it may take 3-4 weeks.

Our standard payment terms are 50% upfront and 50% upon completion, but we can discuss terms that better suit your project.

Our team offers comprehensive design and engineering support to optimize your product for manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Manufacturing

There is not a given set of tolerances that fits all processes and materials. In every case, the final tolerances on your part will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: part size, design geometry, materials, surface finish.
WayKen’s general tolerance is applied to ISO 2768 (medium) for machined plastic and ISO 2768 (fine) for machined metals. Typically, we can hold a CNC machining tolerance from ±0.005″ (±0.125mm) to ±0.002″ (±0.05mm).

The maximum machining size for our CNC milling machines is 4000x2000x2000 mm, and for our CNC lathes, it is up to a diameter of 800 mm and a length of 1000 mm.

Neuvance has the capability to machine a wide range of materials to suit various project requirements, including:

  • Metals: Aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, titanium, and more.
  • Plastics: ABS, polycarbonate, PEEK, nylon, and acrylic.
  • Composites: Carbon fiber and fiberglass.

Neuvance provides a wide array of surface finishes to enhance the durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic appeal of our machined parts. Our services include anodizing, powder coating, electroplating, black oxide, passivation, and galvanizing, among others. These treatments are tailored to meet the specific needs of your project, ensuring your products achieve the desired performance and appearance standards.
